1st Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

This delicious dinner is brought to you by the newly formed
Rotary Community Corps of Nor-West.
 
Proceeds will provide free braille & audio books to the Blind and Visually Impaired via The Xavier Society for the Blind.
 
The RCC of Nor-West is made up of individuals with developmental disabilities. The formation of this club empowers them, with the help of an advisor from the Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor to assess community needs and to achieve their goal of helping others. The RCC of Nor-West is made up of individuals with developmental disabilities.
 
DINNER INCLUDES: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Bread, Soft Drinks, Cupcakes, Coffee/Tea. We’ll have Raffle, prizes and a 50/50. Plus, a DJ, and Photo Booth!

Thank you to the town of Cortlandt shoppers for your generous contributions to our Thanksgiving food drive for the veterans. With ShopRite and the NY State Police, we collected ten stuffed grocery store carts of Thanksgiving food for our veterans and monetary donations. It was a great day!
Visit from the District Governor, C. Loren Russell and District Governor Elect, Syed Alirahi created an opportunity for installation of officers and appreciation of Past President, Brad Nelson.

Courtesy of our club, baskets and thank you note were delivered to NYP Hudson Valley Hospital to serve 4 departments for a total of 160 “heroes”.

Hosted by the Special Needs members of the RCC, see how well they can raise monies for “Give Kids the World Village” charity, with your participation. Food catered by long time local merchant “Sansotta”. There will be many great prizes to be won.

Our rotary family of clubs in DISTRICT 7230 extends from Manhattan, Staten Island, THE Bronx, Westchester and yes, Bermuda. They can be your local travel guide for great spots when in their neighboorhood.  
Sunday, September 15th the Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor will host the “Fifth Annual Westchester Putnam Touch A Truck” from 10am to 3pm. It will be located at 155 Highland Avenue where the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society holds their Annual Italian Feast each July.

Please join the Rotary Community Corp of KEON on Friday, April 12, 2019, for a Spaghetti Dinner from 6-8 PM at a brand new location this year, the Muriel Morabito Center. The site is at 29 Westbrook Drive Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. All proceeds will raise monies for Friends of Karen supporting critically ill children and their families for 40 years.

Reserve early for a great meal that is fun, family oriented, and affordable. Hosted by the Special Needs members of the RCC, see how well they can raise monies for Friends of Karen charity, with your participation. There will be many great prizes to be won. For your entertainment, music DJ is the100.7 WHUD Family Fun Crew.

Only $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for children under 12, free for under the age of 3 Reservations only. Seating is limited.

Thank you letters received for recent CMR involvement in local charities. Love Holds Life Children's Cancer Fund, Freds Pantry at CCHOP,  (collecting Turkeys and food for their annual Turkey Trot).  The Dictionary Project (our literacy program for distributing Dictionaries and Thesaurus to local elementary schools.  
The Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor in collaboration with the Town of Cortlandt, will be holding its annual Academy Awards Red Carpet Formal Luncheon  for seniors at the Murial H Morabito Community Center in Cortlandt Manor.  It will be held on Tuesday February 12th.  The seniors will be voting on their favorite movies and performers, watching trailers, dancing to a DJ, as well as being treated to a catered hot lunch. 
The Annsville WWII Monument Rededication lists those who proudly served in our country's Armed Services, preserving our freedoms, in WWII hailing from Annsville (known as Anns Kill under the Dutch). The Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor proudly unveiled this commemoration of our WWII veterans on  the Sunday of Memorial day weekend, May 29th 2016.
 
A book, such as a Thesaurus or Dictionary is a gift that can be opened again and again. It teaches the wonders of vocabulary and builds good writing and communication skills in our children. The Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor annually distributes Thesaurus' and Dictionaries to 3rd and 5th graders in their area.
 
 
Our Annual Duck Race is Back!

Adopt a Duck, Explore Vendors, Watch the Race!!!
 
The Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor is hosting its 
2025 Annual Duck Race
Held at the beautiful Sprout Brook Park May 4th, located at 130 Sprout Brook Rd., Cortlandt Manor NY 10567. The event will take place from 12:00 to 4:00 
 
In addition to the wild and winding Duck Race down the brook, there will be music, food, fun and games with a great lineup of vendors.  Funds from this event are used to help us support our local community as well as national and sometimes worldwide projects such as “End Polio Now".  You can also visit our Facebook for more good works we have accomplished here.   
 
The rubber ducks will be dropped from the bridge over Sprout Brook near its entrance. During the race the ducks will tumble, splash, bob, and slosh their way down Sprout Brook, racing to the finish line to win prizes for their “adopters”. 
 
Three heats will be held narrowing the field to its climatic Duck Dash to the finish fishnet near the gazebo. The grand prize winner will be the first duck to reach the finishing net. Cash prizes of $1,000.00 for first place, $500.00 for second, and $250.00 for third will be awarded. The winner is not required to be present.
"Adopting a duck" for the race will cost $10.00 for one duck. 
 
Family of ducks (3 Ducks) for only $25.00 (a $5.00 savings) 
 
6 Quack (6 Ducks) for $45.00 (a savings of $15.00)  

Or a whole FLOCK (13 ducks), for $100.00 (savings $30.00).
