Sunday, September 15th the Rotary Club of Cortlandt Manor will host the “Fifth Annual Westchester Putnam Touch A Truck” from 10am to 3pm. It will be located at 155 Highland Avenue where the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society holds their Annual Italian Feast each July.

Westchester Putnam Touch A Truck will provide a unique opportunity for children of all ages to explore and learn about all types of vehicles - including fire, law enforcement, military, construction, farming, utility, delivery, emergency, community, truck dealers and more.

The children will be able to explore, touch, climb, sit in the driver’s seat, pose for photos and ask questions to the professionals there with their vehicles. The professionals will provide a safe environment to learn about the equipment while they explain the use for each vehicle on display. Some may have handouts for the children or other things they can take home with them.

There will also be a FREE face painting for the children. Coffee, Munchkins, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and French Fries and ice cream will be available for sale.

A perfect inexpensive local family event. Admission is only $5 per person at the gate, children under two years of age attend free.

Proceeds will go to support the local community projects which Cortlandt Manor Rotary participates in serving our community all year round.

Projects include school book distributions, Veteran healing garden, and WWII Vets Memorial upkeep, Senior citizen events, Town of Cortlandt Free Concert and Movie Series, End Polio Now among a few. Call us for more information on our meeting times 914 246-0135.
